Content Guidelines
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Intent
Public stories are anonymous glimpses into real days. They should feel safe to read and safe to write. We remove or privatize content that puts people at risk — especially content that identifies someone without their consent.
Please do
- Write in your own words about what you noticed.
- Use broad categories for people (friend, partner) in public stories.
- Report stories that feel harmful or too identifying.
- Choose "just for me" when a moment is too personal to share.
Please don't
- Post full names, contact info, handles, or addresses.
- Target, harass, or demean individuals or groups.
- Share sexual content involving minors or non-consensual imagery.
- Promote spam, scams, or unrelated advertising.
- Encourage self-harm — if you are in crisis, seek local emergency resources.
How enforcement works
Automated checks and human review may set stories to private without a confrontational notice — especially when personal information appears. Repeated or severe violations may lead to account restrictions. Reports are reviewed; we do not notify reporters of outcomes.
Privacy reminder
Even private moments contribute to aggregate statistics, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Names you save for yourself never appear in public views.
Report
Use the report menu on any public story in the app, or email trust@luckysign.app.
